Emil Häfelin

Emil Häfelin

Worked as a drawing teacher and in his free time began to work on an artistic oeuvre that initially stemmed from Impressionism and Post-Impressionism. In his later works, he orientated himself towards surrealism and created watercolours in which he playfully superimposed different levels of representation, often to achieve a trompe-l'oeil effect.
